根据ESI数据库最新数据显示，实验室新增2篇论文入选ESI高被引论文，分别是2019年张兰丹发表于Remote Sensing（截止2021年5月共引用72次）和孔轩2022年发表于IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing 论文，目前引用为10次。 

       基本科学指标数据库（Essential Science Indicators， ESI）是由世界著名的学术信息出版机构美国科技信息所(ISI)于2001年推出的衡量科学研究绩效、跟踪科学发展趋势的基本分析评价工具，ESI高被引论文是根据ESI统计被引频次排在相应学科前1%以内的论文，这项指标也从文献引用角度反映了论文的影响力。

       迄今为止，实验室已有4篇论文入选或曾入选ESI高被引论文，研究成果全部聚焦于红外弱小目标检测和遥感图像处理。
